Tip # 10
Break Up Lung Congestion with an Onion Poultice

My husband has not been feeling well for the past week and a half, battling a deep cough and
lung congestion.  So today I made an onion poultice for him, and it very quickly reduced the loud,
hacking regular cough to a more quieter, gentler cough less frequent cough.

I chopped up a small onion and partly cooked it in a little bit of olive oil.  I added organic apple cider
vinegar, about 1 cup, mixed it up a bit with the onion, then tossed in a few handfuls of corn meal. I
took the pan off the burner, then scooped this onion paste onto a clean flour sack.  Once it cooled
down a bit, it was placed on his chest, covered with plastic wrap to keep it warm.  You can place a
heating pad over top on warm or replace the towel regularly with a warmer one.  Let them lay down
and fall asleep for a bit.  Upon waking, they should feel a heck of a lot better with much less
congestion, if any.

Tip # 9:
Evening Primrose Oil for Cholesterol and Rheumatoid Arthritis

Evening Primrose Oil for Lowering Cholesterol
Evening primrose seeds contain an oil with a high concentration of compounds rarely found in
plants: essential fatty acids, specifically gamma-linolenic acid. In one study, reported in The Review
of Natural Products, 79 people with high cholesterol took 4 grams of Efamol every day for three
months (which provides about 320 mg of GLA), and their average cholesterol level fell 31.5
percent. The suggested dose for evening primrose oil starts at 1-gram gelcaps twice or three times
a day. High cholesterol requires professional care, so consult your physician about GLA.

Evening Primrose Oil for Rheumatoid Arthritis
The EFAs in EPO are also a powerful anti-inflammatory. University of Pennsylvania researchers
gave 37 arthritis sufferers borage oil (which contains GLA) or a placebo, The placebo had no
effect, but the herb group reported 45 percent less pain with no side effects. Other studies utilizing
GLA obtained similar results. Rheumatoid arthritis requires professional care, so consult your
physician about GLA

Tip # 5:
Calcium Bentonite Clay Helps Psoriasis & Eczema
Source:
About Clay.com

Calcium Bentonite Clay acts as a magnet and a sponge.  Its highly charged negative ions attract all
positive charged ions (bacteria, viruses, toxins, etc.) from your body.  These substances stick to
and are absorbed by the calcium bentonite clay, and are eliminated from your body with the clay.

While applications of Calcium Bentonite Clay may not cure cases of Psoriasis and Eczema, it will
help in a significant way.  The effective action begins through the electromagnetic process of
adsorbing the inflammation in the lesions, along with the deformed cells and dead scales.  Pain and
itching stop almost instantly following the application of the clay.  The clay then assists the body in
building new tissue.  Smother the affected area with a thick layer of hydrated clay, and then prevent
the clay from drying for several hours by wrapping the area with plastic food wrap.  Glad Press and
Seal works great for this purpose.  After several hours, repeat the process with fresh clay and
plastic wrap.  During the day if the clay wrap is inconvenient just apply the hydrated clay topically in
a thin application and let it dry.  Re-apply whenever you experience itching.  Read the

Tip #3:
Boost Your Omega-3 Fatty Acid Levels with  Chia Seeds
Source:
Dr. Weil

Chia is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids, even more so than flax seeds. And it has another
advantage over flax: chia is so rich in antioxidants that the seeds don't deteriorate and can be
stored for long periods without becoming rancid. And, unlike flax, they do not have to be ground to
make their nutrients available to the body. Chia seeds also provide fiber (25 grams give you 6.9
grams of fiber) as well as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, copper, iron,
molybdenum, niacin, and zinc.

Tip #2:
Using Cilantro to Detox Heavy Metals
Source:
Heavy Metal Detoxification

Cilantro stimulates the body's release of mercury and other heavy metals from the brain and CNS
(Central Nervous System)  into other tissue. This facilitates the ability to remove heavy metal from
the body using other dietary protocols, such as Chorella and other chlorophyll containing herbs
such as Nettles and Alfalfa. These herbs aid in detoxifying by denaturing the toxins, protecting and
restoring normal cellular functions while promoting elimination. The major constituents of the
volatile oils are: myrcene (1.71%), d-linalool (52.26%), citronellol (4.64%), geraniol (9.29%), safrole
(2.67%), aterpinyl acetate (1.07%) and geraniol acetate. A typical dose is orally 6-15 drops 1/2 hr.
before or 1 hr. after meals 2x/day. For 5 days. 2 day rest and continue. Or Apply ¼ to ½ dropper
on wrists, joints, or affected areas twice a day.

Tip#1:
Arthritis Relief with PVC Pipe
Source: Dr. David Williams,
Alternatives

Every cell in your body has a positive and a negative charge. An imbalance leads to malfunction
and varying degrees of disease. Overactivity in an area, as occurs with inflammation, creates a
positive electrical charge. You can create a negative charge by rubbing a piece of fuzzy material
(available in craft stores or as scraps) briskly along a short length of PCV pipe (available in
hardware stores or as free scrap from a friendly plumber). To treat an arthritic joint, move the
charged PVC pipe slowly back and forth over the area, keeping it about a half-inch to an inch for so
from the surface of the skin. After three or four passes, recharge the pipe by rubbing it against the
material again.  If you happen to touch the pipe to  your skin or another object in the process, you
won't get a shock, but you will need to recharge it again at that time.  Keep repeating the process
until you feel relief. Most people begin to feel a noticeable improvement within five to seven minutes.
