Computer Medic
Most of us have a love-hate relationship with our computers.
When they are working well, we just are constantly amazed and in awe of the brilliant
functioning processes they can perform.
They can make us look like bigger than life!
So what if I can't draw a stick figure, I can hop onto Publisher, and within a few minutes
put together a beautiful piece of artwork.
Ask me a question I don't know the answer to...well I no longer have to drive to the
library to do the research or look through piles of books and magazines to try to close
in on the answer...I can go to Google and in the blink of an eye, have a response.
Yes, my machine is my best friend! We get along wonderfully and have lots of fun
together...that is until
She Goes On Strike
When my computer is down, I am frantic! Coming the closest I ever will to having a
panic attack. Even if it is not an official strike, but a work slow down, it is enough to
drive me over the edge.
Just a little over a week ago my computer decided to go on strike, then actually died in
surgery. Talk about being anxious...a day without email is like a day without sunshine!
So What Did I Do?
I turned to Computer Medic. This is a first rate service business operated by owner Joe
Grant. In the day of outsourcing, hour long telephone waits to talk to a voice activated
robot or a foreigner whose English is barely understandable through the heavy accent,
Joe is a breath of fresh air.
Get this--He comes to your house! If the job can be done at the house, he will do it, it
not he will take the computer and get it back to you within a very reasonable amount of
time. And I didn't even have to crawl under my machine and try to figure out where all
those darn wires belonged...Joe will reconnect you, hooking you back into cyber world.
Joe is extremely helpful, with a high degree of integrity, and a pleasant personality to
boot. He is exactly what I am interested in as far as customer service goes.
So tuck this name and number away for a rainy day when your computer decides to
start sputtering out all kinds of garbage...I know you will be as pleased as I was with the
quality of his work...
