Nature Lyceum: Home of the Green Guerrillas
Finally after all these years, I became a Green Guerrilla! Yeah! Yahoo! Yipee! Can you
tell I am excited? The timing finally presented it self this month, July 2009 so I took
advantage of the opportunity, packed a quick overnight bag, and left with Scott for Long
Island, NY.
This is an amazing school that does an introduction to organics monthly. Whether you are
in the green industry, are a backyard gardener, or just starting to wander into the world of
nature, you have to get your feet wet by attending this 2 day intensive class. I cannot
emphasis enough the importance of this program to get you started. Check out my newest
article, The New Urban Cowboy: The Backyard Farmer.
Let's start by introducing you to the head honcho...
The school, The Nature Lyceum, is run by an amazing master of knowledge and
experience, so, now I am pleased to present to you... .Mr. Jeff Frank!
He is passionate, energetic, a walking encyclopedia, and oh yeah, the survivor of 10
heart attacks. The 9th one left him dead, but the counsel on high returned him to the
Earth Plane, 'cause his work still wasn't finished. At this point, he is doing better than
the cats, in the area of lives saved. If you want to find out more about the story, sign
up for his class. Held monthly, we have it listed on our Calendar of Events.

So What is This Green Guerrilla Class?
Founded in 1994 by Jeff Frank,The Nature Lyceum, is dedicated to helping the green
industry and the backyard gardeners understand the application of organics. Through
the study of and with nature, a common sense approach is taken to provide an
education and approach that uses low tech methods that can be applied immediately.
The goal then is do continue to spread the word...into our communities, which then
moves outward into the neighborhoods of the world.
The location is nothing fancy. It is held at the Senior Citizen in Westhampton, NY. BUT
the setting really isn't a big deal, because what your mind is exposed to is priceless and
it is something you will have difficulty finding else where.
This class is meant to be an introduction, used as a means to open the door to the
possibilites that exist to improve your live and the lives of others...through better health
and an improved environment.
So put it on your list of things to do...become a Green Guerrilla!
