Seeds for Change Wellness
Our New Place...September 2007
                                  Our New Place

158 Green Street    Silverdale, PA
After we closed our center in New Britain in
August '06, we moved back to our home
office in Silverdale, PA  (Sellersville mailing
address) as we waited for another
opportunity to align itself with what we are
trying to accomplish....
And just around the corner, was a space
previously used as a beauty salon that was
available...so we decided to open up a small
center here.
We have converted the small beauty salon into the beginnings of a warm, cozy place
for Seeds for Change to operate from...although we are still putting final touches on
different parts, we are now holding classes, doing therapeutic bodywork, and seeing
clients on a regular basis.
Come on in and take a load off
your feet!

Here is where our waiting room area
will be.

As you can see, we have the start of a
reception area but there are some nice
final touches to be added yet.

The really nice thing about this space
is there are many windows that bring
in the natural light, but which also
can be closed off with curtains.

This is another waiting area that
also will be used when meeting with
various clients.
We started converting the beauty stations and hair washing areas into usable space. With
a little more work and attention to detail, this area will provide an nice setting for smaller,
intimate size classes and workshops. Larger classes will be held at another location.

Another nice, warm area...ready for a relaxing session

The Alantian Ankh
This ankh was created by artist Robert
Gaydos and donated to Seeds for Change
Wellness.

Many layers of color have been applied to
give a representative feel for Alantian times,
with blues for the Atlantic Ocean and Gold for
the spiritual qualities.  The vertical shaft
represents the masculine energies while the
horizontal arm is indicative of the feminine.
The silver disc at the top represents the
rising sun, the smaller disc at the bottom, the
setting sun.  The silver metal color was
retained for the symbolic purpose of its
reflective qualities. The larger disc encircling the rising sun represents the qualities
of eternal life.

As one enters into the room they immediately feel the energy and passion of this
beautiful piece.  It is with heartfelt warmth and much gratitude, that we express our
appreciation to Robert for this generous gift that adds such a wonderful dimension
to the space.

The Ankh, with its looped top, is
an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic
representing the womb, and
translated means life. It is a symbol
found widely in Egyptian art, where
gods and goddesses are shown
clutching the ankh, the key to the
afterlife and immortality. This
symbol was also known as the Key
of the Nile, which provided water for
Egypt to survive, thus further
reinforcing the image of fertility and
reproduction. It symbolises the
ability for life to evolve and be
successful, and reminds us that life
on earth is simply one aspect of
creation, and that we are all eternal
beings.
