1. Interesting Reiki Stories:
Reiki stories are posted as a way to help keep us inspired and to remember to use Reiki
as a tool in healing. If you have an experience or story to share, please forward it to us,
otherwise I will try to post a story or two monthly that I find on the web.
Help in the Hospital
Hi Susan, I hope you are doing well. I have an experience to share. This past week I was
visiting my mother in the hospital. She had just gone through a long, complicated surgery
and had two large incisions in her abdomen. Though she was on the maximum dosage of
morphine she was allowed, she was in a period of intense pain and anxiety. She readily
agreed to my offer of Reiki. I started on her nearest shoulder and hand, uncertain of
where to touch with all those tubes and wires running everywhere. Soon she reported that
both of her hands felt relaxed and asked me to put a hand over the area of her incisions.
Within a few minutes she remarked that her pain had eased and she felt peaceful.
I stayed in the same position for a good 40 minutes while she slept.
Before I knew Reiki, I would have sat helplessly by her beside during her distress. It's
marvelous to have a tool I can use to aid my loved ones during a stressful time like this
one.By the way, my mother is now out of the hospital and is recovering well. Thanks for

2. Requests for Long Distance Healing:
Requests for Long Distance Healing:
When there are several requests, in our small way, we can participate by adding each
individual to our prayer list or to send long distance Reiki. Please consider printing out
these requests so you can remember these people over this next month.
If you make a request for long distance healing, it would be helpful if you could provide us
with some feedback on how the person is doing after a period of time. Remember if there
are multiple requests, you can use the stack method of sending long distance Reiki. One
suggestion would be: When time permits-- send long distance Reiki for one specific
request, then add that request to an on-going list or stack that receives
unlimited Reiki.
Level I Practitioners:
You can participate in the Long Distance Requests by adding the individuals to your
prayer list or send positive thoughts and intentions.
Request from Lynn F
I'd like to request LD Reiki for a co-worker of mine who works in Bensalem. She's been
battling brain cancer for about a year and a half- it was in remission- but seems to have
come back- she is under-going chemo therapy -her therapy is almost over. Please send
her as much healing as humanly possible - she is such a sweet person, and she is a mere
twenty-five years old.... Thanks soooo much.

Please add this to the long distance/prayer Reiki requests. Two of the grandaughters of
friends of mine are now being treated at CHOP. One is in very serious condition, a 4
month old baby named Emily, being treated for botulism. The other is a 7 year old named
Sierra who is having a mass removed and tested from behind her right knee. Thank you
so much.

I would like to you include Marie's granddaughter on the prayer list. She will be having
open heart surgery to repair a leaky valve. She is only 21 and has had heart problems
since birth. Her name is Christina Marie O'Sullivan. She will be having surgery on Oct.
10th at the Hospital of the University of Penn. She just graduated from nursing school but
can't work until she has the surgery. Thank you. All the prayers will be greatly
appreciated.

I wanted to let you know that my friends daughter is doing really well. As a matter of fact
her endometriosis issues have subsided as well. He is a Dr and does research at
Jefferson and is very intrigue with the Reiki practice. It's such an honor to have someone
in the scientific healing arena with such an interest in the spiritual element of healing. I
also know of another Dr who specializes in women's health issues who practices Reiki
along with her scientific practice. Tremendous stuff, huh

My Dad, Robert Gaydos, DE, passed away on the 12th of August, he died peacefully with
my mom at his side. He had lung cancer and was 76yrs young.I miss him very much and
feel a void in my heart.I would to request please, LDR extended to my family in the
newsletter. Everyone has been very supportive and kind to us in our time of
mourning,,,but i take great comfort knowing he is radiating life on the other side of the
veil! Well I hope things are going good for you and look forward to the next share.

3. Q & A
QUESTION:
How do you stay clear and focused during a Reiki treatment?
ANSWER:
Good question! Giving a Reiki treatment to yourself or another individual is such a
beautiful experience, especially when one has the time to focus on what is being given
and received.
Please remember, it is not always necessary to have your attention placed on the Reiki
experience. Although this is mentioned quite often, it is a statement that is overlooked
frequently by many, especially those who say they really do not have the time to do Reiki
on a regular basis. But lets put it into perspective...in order to take in air, must we focus
and concentrate on each in breath? No! Reiki is the same way, it can be received
without needing to place a directed focus during the session. What is necessary is the
intention of beginning the flow of Reiki..this must be stated...then you can let go...and
read that book, fall asleep, watch TV, attend to a meeting discussion, go for a walk, ect.
But there are times when you very much wish to remain focused on the attention of giving
or receiving Reiki. To be a clear channel, I find it easiest to empty my mind and just try to
stay very much in the present moment...not going backward to the past, not going forward
into the future. If my mind begins to wander down different roads away from the current
experience, then I like to concentrate on a repetitive task, such as attending to my
breathing, reciting a prayer, or stating an affirmation. When I do this, my mind usually lets
go and allow me to just be. Each person will find a method that works perfectly for them.
There is no right or wrong way, which has always been the beauty of Reiki.

Angel Numbers by Doreen Virture
You have guardian angels with you right now — continuously — guaranteed! Your angels
guide you through your thoughts, feelings, words, and visions. They also show you
signs—that is, things that you see repeatedly with your physical eyes. One of their
favorite signs relates to number sequences. These are numerals that you repeatedly see
on license plates, phone numbers, clocks, and so on.
If you’ve ever wondered about the significance of these number sequences, you’re not
alone. Many people have asked us about their meaning during our angel workshops. So,
we went to the Source and asked for guidance to interpret the meanings of repetitive
number sequences. As a longtime student of Pythagorean sacred numerology (including
a past life as his student) and also an angel channeler, I rapidly received information as to
what the angels were conveying through these sequences.
My workshop audiences loved it when I discussed the significance of these groups of
numbers, and asked if I would compile a list for them to refer to. So, my book, Healing with
the Angels, included a chapter listing the meanings. After Healing with the Angels many
people said that they carried the book with them as a reference tool for interpreting the
numbers they saw. They asked for an even more comprehensive book that was pocket-
size which has just been published under the title, Angel Numbers.
Number-sequence interpretation is an easy way to receive messages from your angels.
Numerals are everywhere, from digital clocks to billboards to license plates. Each number
has a unique vibrational frequency relating directly to its meaning.
This ancient wisdom harkens back to great teachers such as Hermes, Plato, and
Pythagoras. Pythagoras said that everything in the Universe is mathematically precise,
and each number has its own vibration, meaning, and virtue. Plato wrote everything in the
Universe is built from basic geometrical shapes derived from numbers, such as triangles
(from three) and cubes (from four). The sacred mystical Jewish text of the Zohar
(Kabbalah) discusses the power of the vibrations from numbers and letters.
The angels also say that the placement of the numbers in a sequence holds special
meaning. For example, when there are three or more numbers, the center digit is of
primary focus. The angels say that this number represents the “heart” of the matter.
Numerology is one of the few sacred sciences that has kept its magic from ancient to
modern times. The angels remind us that we’re all alchemists, and that we’re powerful
enough to manifest our true desires through Divine magic. Numbers point out the
importance of seeing Heavenly messages third-dimensionally in order to show us the
lessons, the growth opportunities, and the guidance contained within each of our
experiences.
Below is a sampling of some number sequences your angels may show to you. Ask for
clarification if the numbers’ message is unclear by saying to them silently or aloud,
“Please clearly explain so I’ll easily understand.” As with any divination tool, defer to your
own inner wisdom as the ultimate authority. In other words, if in doubt, then trust your gut.
Three-digit Numbers
111 – Monitor your thoughts carefully, and be sure to only think about what you want, not
what you don’t want. The sequence is a sign that there is a gate of opportunity opening
up, and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the
bright light of a flash bulb. It means that the universe has just taken a snapshot of your
thoughts and is manifesting them into form. Are you pleased with what thoughts the
universe has captured? If not, correct your thoughts…ask your angels to help you with
this if you have difficulty controlling or monitoring your thoughts.
123 — Simplify your life. Get rid of anything that’s pulling at your energy, time, or
finances—especially anything that pulls you away from your life purpose. The ascended
masters are helping you with this simplification.
222 — Have faith. Everything’s going to be all right. Don’t worry about anything, as this
situation is resolving itself beautifully for everyone involved.
333 — The Ascended Masters are near you, desiring you to know that you have their
help, love and companionship. Call upon the Ascended Masters often, especially when
you see the number 3 patterns around you. Some of the more famous Ascended Masters
include: Jesus, Moses, Mary, Quan Yin and Yogananda.
444 — Thousands of angels surround you at this moment, loving and supporting you.
You have a very strong and clear connection with the angelic realm, and are an Earth
angel yourself. You have nothing to fear—all is well.
555 — Buckle your seatbelts. A major life change is upon you. This change should not be
viewed as being “positive” or “negative” since all change is but a natural part of life’s flow.
Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continuing seeing and feeling
yourself to be at peace.
666 — Your thoughts are out of balance right now, focused too much on the material
world. This number sequence asks you to balance your thoughts between Heaven and
Earth. Like the famous, “Sermon on the Mount” the angels ask you to focus on spirit and
service, and know your material and emotional needs will be met as a result.
777 — The angels applaud you… “congratulations, you’re on a roll! Keep up the good
work and know your wish is coming true.” This is an extremely positive sign and you
should also expect more miracles to occur.
888 — A phase of your life is about to end, and this is a sign to give you forewarning to
prepare. This number sequence may mean you are winding up an emotional career or
relationship phase. It also means there is light at the end of the tunnel. In addition it
means, The crops are ripe. Don’t wait to pick and enjoy them. In other words, don’t
procrastinate in making your move or enjoying the fruits of your labor.
875 — The changes you’re making have put you on the right path for manifesting
abundance in all ways.
999 — Get to work, Lightworker! The world needs your Divine life purpose right now. Fully
embark upon your sacred mission without delay or hesitation.
000 — A reminder you are one with God, and to feel the presence of your Creator’s love
within you. Also it is a sign that a situation has gone full circle.
Four-digit Numbers
To interpret the meaning of four-digit numbers, break the number sequence into three
digits and read that interpretation. Then, add the last digit’s interpretation to know the
meaning of the entire sequence. For instance, to interpret 2048, begin with the first three
digits: 204, and read its interpretation:
204 — God and the angels ask for your patience. Stay filled with faith that your prayers
have been heard and are answered.
Then, read interpretation of the last of the four digits in 2048, which is 8:
8 — Know that financial abundance is coming to you now.
Put these two interpretations together and you have the meaning of 2048: God and the
angels ask for your patience. Stay filled with faith that your prayers have been heard and
are answered. Financial abundance is coming to you now.
Summarizing these combined interpretations, then, 2048 means: “Heaven assures you
that your money needs will be supplied. Have patience.”
Five-digit Numbers
You can interpret five-digit numbers in a similar fashion. Just take the first three digits and
read its meaning, then read the interpretation of the last two digits in the number
sequence. Combine these meanings and then summarize them.
Here’s an example using the five-digit number sequence, 99900:
999 — Get to work, Lightworker! The world needs your Divine life purpose right now. Fully
embark upon your sacred mission without delay or hesitation.
And here is the meaning of the last two numbers:
00 — This means that the Creator is emphasizing a message to you and asks that you
pay attention and follow the guidance without delay.
Next, add the meanings of the two together to find that 99900 means:
Get to work, Lightworker! The world needs your Divine life purpose right now. Fully
embark upon your sacred mission without delay or hesitation. The Creator is emphasizing
this message to you and asks that you pay attention and follow the guidance without
delay.
In other words, God wants you to fully commit yourself to your life’s purpose…now!
Six-digit Numbers
To interpret the meaning of a six-digit number such as 225496, you’d break it into two or
three-digit components. In this case, we’ll break it into 225 and 496. Then, read the
interpretation for the first section, which is:
225 — Trust that this change is for the best. You are in a period of transition—letting go
of the past and that which is no longer working. Let go and move forward with confidence
and faith.
Then, you’d look up the meaning of the second three-digit segment:
496 — The angels ask you to make your Divine life mission your top priority right now.
Don’t worry about how it will come about, or any other material aspect concerning your
purpose. The angels help with everything.
Next, compile the meanings of each segment so that 225496 means:
Trust that this change is for the best. You’re in a period of transition—letting go of the
past and that which is no longer working. Let go and move forward with confidence and
faith. The angels ask you to make your Divine life mission your top priority right now. Don’t
worry about how it will come about, or any other material aspect concerning your purpose.
The angels help with everything.
This is a message, in summary, that says, “Have faith in the changes you’re experiencing.
The angels ask you to focus on your Divine life mission, and they’ll supply all your
material needs.”
You’ll love the continual conversations you’ll engage in with Spirit, with the help of the
interpretations you’ll find in this article. Once you begin interpreting the number
sequences, you’ll discover spiritual signs and messages everywhere you go. The more
you learn about and notice number sequences, the more you’ll realize that Heaven is
always with you—speaking with you, guiding you, and loving you. Have fun!

Suggestion : 32 Increase Your Personal Power
When we are high in personal power we are:
High in self-esteem
Energetic and dynamic
Effective
Imaginative
Purposeful
Decisive
Focused
How often do you feel kine this? The concept of power is often linked with ideas of
struggle, authority and conflict. We are using the word quite differently here. Your power
is your own. It belongs to you and no one can change it, take it away or give you more.
You crate your won personal power and not as the case may be. If we want to be high in
personal power we have to take total responsibility for everything that happens to us in
our life.
Whenever we start blaming external forces or other people for the things that
happen to us, we give away our personal power.
Examples:
After being given a poor seat in a restaurant: "It's not fair, I never get given a good seat."
Working late for the third night in a row: "My boss never thinks that I might have
something better to do."
Whenever we wait for someone to change their behavior we are giving away our
power.
Example:
He doesn't mean to ignore me, he just has a problem showing his true feelings. I will
change him! (Many women will recognize this one).
If you are waiting for someone to change you will wait forever. Every time you play the
victim you give away your power to your victimizer. If it's someone else's fault then you
can't do anything to change your situation. Take charge of your life: say"no" when you
need to, express your true feelings and don't let people treat you like a doormat. Let go of
blame, increase your personal power and be free to live your life dynamically.
