Jeff Frank---Founder of The Nature Lyceum School for organics, and then some!
My first communication with Jeff Frank was a phone call from him. He said he'd
heard I was a golf course superintendent who was involved in organics. He told
me about the school. It sounded good but I needed more. I called a few people
who had attended the course and they all raved about the program.
I made arrangements and headed for Westhampton, NY to become a "Green
Guerrilla"- which is what you become after your 2 day intensive on organics. My
first impression when I arrived at the center where the class was being held was
that of confusion. The parking lot was grass with concrete bumpers and handicap
signs. It seemed odd to be parking on the grass, me being a golf course
superintendent. During class we learned about Rudolf Steiner's Biodynamics. We
mixed up one of Rudolf's preps called "horn manure" and applied it to the turf
parking lot complete with our "intentions" of health to the turf. Jeff told us the turf
lot stayed green during the previous year's dry spell while most others who had non-
irrigated turf went brown. Impressive to say the least.
At class we covered Dr. Emoto's "messages from the water", the history of
chemicals, plus an extensive list of other topics not found in your typical organics
program but which are integral to developing a foundational knowledge of the
workings of nature.
Jeff is a dynamic, uplifting speaker, who has the ability to touch individuals at
the core, to help them expand their understanding and view of the natural world
from a different perspective than they are used to. His goal is to ignite the seeds
of awareness and action, then send his students back to their home areas to be
new ambassadors for the environment. Many of the subjects are simply over-
whelming if you've never been exposed to them. Jeff basically says he is
opening the door, and it's up to you to go through and explore the world through a
different set of eyes.
Being a Green Guerrilla opens up a network of incredible knowledge throughout
the green industry. Jeff, and his network of teachers, are impacting the world in
a very positive way, one ambassador at a time. We are at a critical time in the
earth's evolution and it is absolutely crucial that we work actively to restore
balance and harmony to the environment to help undo the damage we have
done as a civilization over the past century in the name of progress. Jeff's
program and others like it, are needed and must be supported, to get us moving
in the right direction.
The teachings at the school have changed my life and opened many door of
learning and practical applications, which have affected my personal health,
and the decisions I make regarding the environment, in a very beneficial way.
I strongly recommend you consider attending as soon as possible---a must do!
